Kenwood, California | November 29, 2016: WINE WOMEN, a new, nonprofit professional merchandise organization focused on advancing women's careers in the vino industry past fostering and nurturing talent, providing networking and grooming opportunities, too as advocating for better opportunities for women in this industry, welcomes Ashley Teplin, co-founder of Teplin + Nuss, as guest speaker to its Marketing Forum meeting on Tuesday, December sixth, at Ledson Winery, in Kenwoodat 6 p.chiliad. The meeting is open to women and men serving in marketing professions in the wine industry.
ABOUT THE MEETING
Attendees will have an opportunity to network with marketing professionals in the wine industry and explore ways in which they tin can expand their collective cognition and leverage relationships to heighten their careers.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts caste from the University of California at Los Angeles, as well every bit a culinary arts caste from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. The Ledson Winery castle was originally intended to be Steve Ledson'south dad's home, but was converted into the winery's tasting room. Later being poured Ledson'south '95 Estate Merlot, initial guests asked if there was a wine club they could join. Today, contrary to most wineries, Ledson sells 100% of their wines direct to customers – no middlemen, no brokers – for a thriving vino club. WINE WOMEN's mission is "To champion the advancement of women'southward careers in the wine manufacture by edifice strong relationships, essential business skills and leadership among members." At the core of the new 501(c)(iii) nonprofit professional organization's activities are programs focused on providing the tools, guidance and creativity for members to achieve industry prominence.
Vino WOMEN Forums are career development tools for women (and men) in the wine industry. Each forum is profession- or topic-driven, such as finance and accounting, homo resources, winemaking, marketing, and other facets of the concern. Additional forums are in the planning stages for other peer groups, such as management and operations. Eligibility to bring together a forum is established past each forum's membership. Forums are open to both women and men (unless otherwise stated). Advance registration is required.
