Started in 1981 by Varn Philbrook, PE, Philbrook Structure Services Grouping, Inc. offset offered professional engineering services while concurrently edifice custom homes and undertaking additions and remodeling projects. As the company grew, it began taking on light commercial projects which coincided well with professional commercial structure assistants work. Varn's brother, Kelley Philbrook, joined the firm in 1991 to take on the Structure Supervision aspects of the business, supervising the construction work and overseeing in field coordination of the projects. Significant past projects include: a consummate renovation of the iconic seaside resort at the Chatham Bars Inn, the refitting of the stained glass windows at the Greek Orthodox Church in Hyannis, and the installation of the lift and HC restrooms for the Sturgis Library in Barnstable. Other projects include continued project direction in support of the multi-million dollar construction and renovations to the Soundings Seaside Resort in Dennisport. Varn & Kelley's younger brother, Chris Philbrook, joined the business in 2015. The 3 brothers recognized the needs of a maturing Cape population and added a Property Services Division to round out their business. Chris is leading the growth of this newly-formed division and expanding the company into property direction, maintenance & repairs, seasonal services, and more. Nosotros originally planned to expand our kitchen to make it more than functional, but ultimately decided to pretty much gut-renovate our 20-year Greatcoat business firm. Andrew and his team worked well with both the builder and our family to ensure that the design and construction processes went smoothly. Philbrook is very easy to work with. All members of the group gave their utmost to bring my unusual project to completion. They worked closely with my architect and handled one supply filibuster with cracking care. Their follow up was extraordinary with both emails and phone calls and texts if necessary. The few Change Orders were handled with remarkable care and only went forrad after full discussion of added cost, fourth dimension for installation and completion. My project was simply called a "facelift" merely included new doors, new sliders, granite stairs, new railings, new lighting and extensive hardscaping. Philbrook had it all under control. They built our new domicile on Greatcoat Cod in 2003. We were extremely satisfied with the overall experience. They were very professional in every aspect of the project. They had a not bad attitude and was very piece of cake to piece of work with. They always communicated in a timely manner and met the overall upkeep timelines. I would highly recommend them for whatever edifice project.

Philbrook Applied science & Construction has been our "edifice partner" for 16 years at present. We have hired them to aid us in the design, and then later on engineer and build 3 high end custom "dream homes" for us here on Cape Cod. My wife and I enjoy the entire building creative process and get the crawling to do it again every 5 or 6 years. Nosotros were actually approached with unsolicited offers to sell both of the previous homes that they built for us which speaks volumes. I guess it goes without maxim that we have found them wonderful to work with and extremely professional. My wife and I regularly hear horror stories from others who have not had the same experience when hiring a building contractor. In add-on to our homes, I have hired PE&C for iii other construction projects at my local concern. Varn and Kelley both have keen "design taste", common sense, and a wealth of experience with regard to the entire building process. They take held our hands when necessary and always listened to us as clients. Our faith and trust in them is beyond words and I would highly recommend them for whatever construction project, large or small.
